of a desire
first, there is
my secret’s
secret angst
setting fire
to what i see.
i rise out of
the wreckage
naked, the
mathematics
of thirst
stripped,
touch you and
listen
for the
brutality
of our silence
to take me in
your mouth.
in your dream,
there is voltage
and water,
and nothing
slows
down. in
my dream
there is dry
bone marrow
and the ghee
you rubbed
on my eyelids.
