Tell
Me
tell
me
about how the leaves
crunch beneath your feet
or how
they
whisper in the wind
tell me
about how the
clouds
dangle in the sky
or how they
stare at us like a
child gazing into their fish tank
tell me
about how the
hills
roll on and on
or how they
are grass orbs rising from
the precious planet
tell me
& see
if I give a
shit
tell me
SOMETHING NEW
damn it
Ask
Them
angel-faced
demons
people that smell like piss
robots in suit and tie
the
scum of the city sidewalk
ask them
to find meaning
here
tell them to dissect
each line
with their finest
discernment
though
they will each come up
with their own
hypothesis
there is a secret
that is not so secret
the
meaning is gone
I Am Completely Insane
I told a friend
that I write to
balance out my emotions
and remain mentally stable
she said that
she wouldn't want to put up with me
if I didn't write
because I'm already
enough of an asshole
as it is
so
be glad
I am writing this
because
otherwise
I would probably be hiding in a tree
throwing my fecal matter at you
